Artist Statement: 
Dr. Frankenstein is first accosted by his creation during a misty cold morning on a mountain top. I wanted to capture the silent disdain and contempt of the creature. The monster’s first words to his creator were, “All men hate the wretched; how then must I be hated, who am miserable beyond all living things! “
