The Story:
”The little mermaid has always yearned for the strange and exciting life of the humans. After saving a human man during a sea storm, she desired his love and to have a life with him. And if they were married, his soul would be shared with her. For mermaid have no souls, and merely return to the ocean as sea foam when they die.
Naive and desperate, the little mermaid turned to the banished sea witch among the world pools. The exchange to be human was high. To walk on two legs, she had to offer-up her tongue, and with new feet every step would feel as if she were walking on daggers. Unless the man chooses her as his wife, the spell would break and she would die.
Scared, but determined, the little mermaid accepts the sea witch's terms and begins her journey to find love and a soul. “
